What lurks below!

I don't necessarily have a desk, I thought I would take a picture of the table that sits next to the IWB where I hang a lot of the stuff that I need daily and resources on the table that the children and I share.

The children do note each year that I don't have a desk like the other teachers in the school, to which I reply that the chair I have is my desk, taking a picture of my chair would be boring though, and I prefer to sit with you while you work!  After that they don't ask any further questions.

However, I'm sure many of you do have a desk and I must say it is not a big deal not having a one.  I got rid of my desk in 2010 because I knew when I moved into this new block I wouldn't have one as well as it took up far too much space that could be used for the children for their learning.  So, we're pretty much desk-less and I must say it does force you to sort your paperwork quickly!

Picture of the computer attached to the IWB.  All the everyday stuff I use.

Table which the children and I share resources.  The coffee cup and iPad belong to me.
So, Day 8 is what is in your desk draw and what you can infer.  As I think about it, I am quite particular about how I keep the wall, despite it doesn't look like it, and how the table is kept because it is a shared space where the children can access resources they may need as well as it is a drop off point for notices, work, etc.  They also use the computer when they are working on the IWB in small or whole class.

What can I infer by these pictures?
Top Picture
From this picture I would infer that I record a lot of data - stop watch, clipboards, and sheets that look like it requires data to be entered in either by numbers or other forms.  Or I just like bulldog clips!

Bottom Picture
I'm an organised person as everything looks like it has it's place, that is easily accessible by the children if needed.  Busy as the coffee cup is sitting on the table, so no time to drink it in the staffroom, next to the worn our iPad case.  The cup on the table tells me that we or someone in the class won some sort of competition.

I would love to hear what you infer from the pictures!
